Details |
| 1. Determine
needs |
Global Nurses Network will sit down with you and understand
your staffing needs in detail. This includes the number
of nurses required, the specialties desired, years of experience,
etc.
|
| 2. Global Nurses Network
screens candidates |
Once you provide proof to Global Nurses Network
that you have passed the CGFNS, a representative will contact
you to setup an interview
The interviewer will be interested in your performance in
nursing school, your practical experience, and your English
speaking skills
|
3. Ensure nurses have
passed the CGFNS and TOEFL exams
|
Once we screen qualified nurses, we ensure that they have
passed all the required tests before they are eligible for
a U.S. visa. This includes the CGFNS test (nursing skills),
the TOEFL exam (written English skills) and the TSE (spoken
English skills).
|
4. Hospital interviews
the candidates
|
We offer you with the choice of conducting the interviews
via videoconferencing, or in-person by flying to India.
Either way, we will request a block of your time and ensure
all the candidates are properly scheduled within that time.
|
5. Finalize candidates
|
We will sit down with you and finalize the
candidates desired. At this point, you will have to sign an
agreement with each candidate acknowledging that you will
be offering them a position at your hospital, and will be
sponsoring their visa.
|
6. Submit immigration
petitions
|
At this point, you will have to submit visa
petitions for each nurse. Our legal staff will arrange for
all the paperwork with the INS; you will simply have to sign
each petition.
|
7. Wait several months
|
At this point, the INS takes over. They will process each
visa petition, and the entire process can take 6-12 months.
During this time, we will be following up with the INS regularly
to ensure each application is being processed in a timely
manner. We will inform you once each candidate has been called
for an interview - the last step before their visas are final.
|
8. Nurse comes to
the U.S.
|
We will assist the nurse with her transportation details,
and even arrange for her temporary lodging for the first two
months while she is here.
|
9. Nurse begins practicing
with her temporary license (if possible)
|
If your state allows for temporary licenses, then we will
ensure the nurse receives her license immediately after arrival.
She will then commence working at your hospital.
|
10. Nurse takes NCLEX
|
The nurse will take the state licensing exam and become
officially licensed in your state.
|
| 11. Practice as a
permanent employee in your hospital |
You now have a full-fledged, practicing nurse! At this point,
Global Nurses Network's role with this nurse is complete,
and we will be busy screening many more nurses for you. |
